There are many ways to design, create, and manage your interests via a website.

I will work with you if you want something serious or something just for fun.

I have amateurishly been maintaining websites for my self and friends for nearly five years.
Here are some websites I've authored, the first two are personal favorites:

These are my skills so far:
Forms - used to allow site visitors to send you requested information, a simple email or a full questionnaire.
Tables - used to customize the look of the page layout
Frames - used to display a single web page while only parts of it change.
Editing Images - for display on web pages
Text Art - animate, texture, color, and fonts.
Hyperlinks -
Background - colors, designs, and pictures
Java Script installation -used in hundreds of ways to create webpage effects, such as "On-Mouse-Overs" -Example: Display Images, see also this index page: www.greencabinet.org & www.aqua-shine.com.
Register a Domain. --such as www.yourdomain.com. You may even have your own personal email address such as you@yourdomain.com.
Find you a suitable host for your web site. Some are relatively free or inexpensive. If you already have an Internet Service Provider, they often offer free web site hosting. A host is a place/server where your web site is hosted so it can be accessed worldwide. You can even password protect parts of your site.
Design and Create your site -use any background, pictures, colors, formats, and effects. I can help you design and teach you how to maintain your own website, or you can hire me to maintain it. I work with you to come up with something that suits your needs.

FORMS

Forms can be added to your site which allows users to send you information of many kinds, a simple email style or even a questionnaire. You can even set up an online store that will receive money for you. Do you have services or something to sell?

Moon Circle was my first personal project.
Later I joined the Starland community and committee. They have property in the desert where we are actively facilitating gatherings for gay men and friends.
The Venice Mootney Theater company belongs to a Faerie named Donatelo who has a love for ecology.
I have also done small personal web sites for friends.
I don't ask for much in return except just the chance to do it.
Because of the support I get from friends I have learned a great deal about web authoring.

My latest gizmo is forms -- example: Email Form

So far I've done pretty good and will advance into learning more about Flash, the program that displays those fancy web page animations.
